ENROLLMENT POLICIES

& Admission Criteria

Saint Joseph High School has adopted policies that clearly define how enrollment decisions are made to ensure a fair and transparent process.

If a student’s application is submitted by the deadline and the admissions criteria are met, the student will be considered for enrollment. Placement decisions will be based on the maximum class sizes established by the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, following these priority categories:

*Families seeking priority based on parish membership must submit a form signed by their pastor along with the application.

Wait List Info

If a student is not selected for admission due to class size limits, they will be placed on a wait list and given priority for future openings based on the categories above. The wait list is valid only for the current academic year, beginning after the enrollment process ends and expiring at the conclusion of the school year.

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. At Saint Joseph High School, we are here to support you every step of the way.

We encourage families to reach out with any questions regarding tuition, financial aid, or the enrollment process. Together, we can make a quality Catholic education an affordable and achievable goal for your family.
